Announcement: Invitations for The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) chapter at "College Name" will be sent to eligible students in the coming weeks. The invitation typically brings questions, so this is intended to provide awareness of the organization and support you in answering any questions your students may have.

The National Society of Leadership and Success at "College Name"

The NSLS is an active student organization on campus available for membership at the beginning of our fall and spring terms. Our chapter was founded in "Year of Inception". As of 2021, "Number of Members" students have become members of the organization. "Advisor Name", "Advisor Title", will serve as the Chapter Advisor, helping to mentor and guide "Student President Name", as the Chapter President, in leading the executive board to support their peers' leadership development.

What is The National Society of Leadership and Success?

The NSLS is the largest and only accredited leadership honor society in the United States, with 700+ college chapters and more than 1.4 million members.

With a flexible online curriculum, the NSLS is perfect for our students, many of whom are balancing full course-loads with family and full-time jobs.

As an accredited leadership training program, the NSLS aligns with our mission of teaching students skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. When students complete the skill-building program, they’ll develop many in-demand skills that hiring managers seek, such as leadership, relationship-building, goal-setting, and effective communication.

The NSLS Experience

The Foundations of Leadership program takes approximately 9-10 hours to complete at the students’ own pace. As part of the leadership training, students will get to experience the Speaker Series Broadcasts, which brings inspiring leaders exclusively to NSLS members, including former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, Dr. Bernice King, Mark Cuban, and many others.

Beyond the leadership training, our students become part of a community of fellow leaders across the United States, where they’ll meet new friends and make lifelong connections. On top of the skills they learn and connections they make, the NSLS membership gives our students access to nearly $500,000 in scholarships each year, along with many partner discounts to help them save even more.

Once students complete the program, they become inducted members and gain access to even more benefits, including personalized letters of recommendation, which help them stand out when interviewing for future jobs. They’ll also gain access to an exclusive NSLS Job Board, additional scholarships, and opportunities for advanced leadership education, allowing them to earn credits as they learn to lead.
