CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Neil Khaund is Chief Executive Officer of the NSLS. He serves as the brand’s chief ambassador, expressing his and the organization's desire to help upskill individuals so they can future-proof their career and meet the needs of the global economy. His passion directly aligns with the values of the NSLS in helping individuals realize their true leadership potential and capability to make a better world.

As the former CEO for Livius Prep, one of the nation’s leading providers of college preparation programs, Neil led their transformation into a profitable online education company with multiple high-growth verticals, including online services and B2B.

He is also the co-founder of LATAM-based Kennedy Executive Education, an industry leader in providing online skill-based certificate programs to universities and corporate partners throughout Latin America.

Prior to Kennedy, he was the Vice President of Corporate Development for publishing giant Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH). Under Neil’s leadership, HMH expanded their digital footprint into high-growth channels like Charter and Online Schools.

During his time as Managing Director of Partnership Solutions at Kaplan Inc., his team grew Kaplan’s Online University business into the corporate market by building strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies such as WalMart, ADP, Target, and Microsoft. Presently, he also serves on the board for two education companies.  

Neil holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, as well as an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Neil currently resides in the Boston area with his wife, son, and daughter. He enjoys spending his free time on the golf course, exercising, and teaching his son to play tennis.
