Ever wonder what really happens to your resume after you click “submit”? In this engaging session, you’ll step into the recruiter’s shoes and learn how resumes are reviewed, filtered, and selected. We’ll explore the tools and systems recruiters use, reveal common pitfalls that keep strong candidates from moving forward, and highlight what makes a resume rise to the top.
This won’t be a passive lecture — you’ll get to practice thinking like a recruiter through interactive polls, small-group discussions, and a live resume critique exercise. Together, we’ll analyze sample resume excerpts, debate what stands out (and what doesn’t), and even collaborate on rewriting a “weak” bullet into one that gets noticed.
You’ll leave with insider insights and practical strategies to strengthen your own resume so it makes it to a recruiter’s desk — and increases your chances of landing that interview.
