Asia Wellington Joins the NSLS as Chief People Officer

MIAMI, March 21, 2022: The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is proud to announce Asia Wellington as its new Chief People Officer. Asia joins the NSLS as it continues to grow and brings an empathetic, human-centered approach to the design, development, and implementation of business solutions, aligning people and strategy to deliver positive results.

In this role, she’ll extend the organization’s commitment to building leaders who make a better world through the advancement and well-being of our people, members, and partners in the communities we serve. She is a transformative leader focused on building a culture of trust, embracing diversity, and challenging the status quo in how human resources policies, programs, and initiatives support people within an organization.

Asia has a strong background in human behavior psychology, beginning with her career in social work where she learned to use cognitive behavioral therapy to create change. Before joining the NSLS, she was responsible for leading organizational learning and talent development initiatives within a large health system. In this role, she worked to develop a culture where the patient was central to the design, development, and delivery of talent development initiatives, impacting more than 25,000 employees.

Born and raised in London, England, Asia brings a truly global perspective as it relates to human resources, leadership development, and organizational success. She currently resides in Texas with her husband and two children. She earned a Bachelor of Science in social work from the University of Greenwich, London, a Master of Social Science in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science in human resource development from the University of Houston.
