Charting Students' Success: Nation's Largest Collegiate Leadership and Honor Society Appoints Co-Presidents

The National Society of Leadership and Success names Tierney Wade and Sean Anderson as Co-presidents, promising to elevate the organization’s life-changing leadership program through a forward-looking vision and technological innovation

Miami - The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is expanding the organization's capacity to improve lives, elevate careers and create future leaders with the appointments of Co-Presidents Tierney Wade and Sean Anderson.

Wade and Anderson are longtime and dedicated leaders at the NSLS, respectively overseeing the organization’s vast operations and complex information and technology infrastructure for more than two decades combined. They will continue to oversee those areas as part of their new roles, reporting to Founder and Chief Visionary Gary Tuerack.

Tuerack said Wade and Anderson bring a depth of institutional knowledge, strategic planning and innovative thinking that will propel the NSLS to even greater heights of excellence and impact.

With 829 chapters in over 800 college campuses across the nation, the NSLS continues to provide a life-changing leadership program that helps students achieve personal growth, career success, and empowers them to have a positive impact in their communities, especially as they navigate the challenges and opportunities provided to them in their college life.

Wade, as President and Chief Operating Officer, brings a wealth of experience bridging the space between the company’s visionary strategies and operational efficiencies. She plays a key role in how the NSLS engages college students at hundreds of universities nationwide, seeing its growth from 200 chapters to over 800. Her ascent to Co-President underscores her commitment to education and higher learning. From steering two test prep regions at The Princeton Review to championing institutional programs for diverse demographics with nonprofits like Harlem Children’s Zone Promise Academy and Latino Justice PRLDEF (formerly the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund), Wade's leadership reflects a commitment to bridging educational gaps.

Anderson, as President and Chief Information Officer, provides the NSLS an exceptional blend of technical skills and business acumen. His success in building high-performing teams helped position the NSLS to excel at the nexus of business, education and technology. With a computer science degree and numerous tech certifications, he's been a transformative leader at renowned organizations like the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and Time Warner Cable. His leadership at Smartbear Software and as chief technology officer at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum emphasizes his ability to drive growth and enhance operations through innovative technology solutions. Sean has also authored books on technology and business.

Wade and Anderson, with their 22 years of shared experience at the NSLS, exemplify the importance of collaborative and inclusive leadership. Their dedication to cultivating a supportive environment, where every voice matters, serves as the cornerstone for the NSLS's continued advancement. As the NSLS embraces the future, it remains committed to its tradition of hosting esteemed speakers such as President Barack Obama, President George W.
